Weird wine question. What is the name of the wine that smells like "Fruit Loops" cereal?

I heard about it on a wine podcast, sounds interesting.

Weird wine question. What is the name of the wine that smells like %26quot;Fruit Loops%26quot; cereal?
It%26#039;s called %26quot;Viognier%26quot;.

There are also many other powerful flower and fruit aromas which can be perceived in these wines (more than one wine enthusiast has even detected aromas of Froot Loops breakfast cereal in Viognier)
Reply:Beringer white zinfandel (as well as many other zinfandels) emit a very fruity smell...much like fruit loops...that%26#039;s why they are used in zangrias
Reply:While I have neevr heard a wine refered to as having a boquet of %26quot;Fruit loops%26quot;, it is almost certainly a sweet wine. I am assuming that is may be a White Zinfandel (regular Zinfandels are dark red and much stronger, not fruity) beacuse it is sweeter with hints of fruits, or a blend that mixes actual fruits with it. Wine%26#039;s like Arbor Mist have Tropical Fruits Pinot Grigio, which could very well smell like Fruit Loops. Good luck, I think the Arbor Mist is your best bet!
Reply:No %26quot;true%26quot; wine will exert a bouquet of %26quot;fruit loops%26quot;. This I promise you.

That said the %26quot;wine%26quot; your talking about is prolly something of a wine cooler ( a malted beverage which is actually a heavily fruity flavored beer)

Arbor Mist also puts out a product known as wine that has infusions of Artificial fruit flavorings. This is what I presume your really inquiring about.
