Why does my cat steal my elastic hair loops?

He takes them from the bathroom counter top near the sink and puts them on top of his food in the food dish. Why?

Why does my cat steal my elastic hair loops?
He gets high on your hair spray or shampoo, I%26#039;m only kidding.

They like to bond with your body%26#039;s odor when your gone especially.
Reply:He could just be a fashonista in disguise!

He probably just thinks it%26#039;s a fun game to be honest, just make sure he doesn%26#039;t swallow any and no harm will come of it.

Reply:I think its just one of those idiosynchrasies-my cat used to go crazy for rubber bands. He%26#039;d bat them around, break them up and eat them if we didn%26#039;t catch him. He still tries sometimes, but not so much now that he%26#039;s older. Just one of those things!
Reply:Cats find enjoyment out of everything, my orange tabby enjoyed my hair loops as well which resulted in a very upset mommy when I went to get ready in the morning and couldn%26#039;t find any of my hair loops. Also my youngest cat Tobias likes to steal my makeup sponges... he goes crazy over them! He will even play fetch with them!

Cats are weird... hah.
